Parking, plowing, and winter basics

Winter operations are often the biggest adjustment for new residents.

  • Snow plowing typically begins at 3 inches, though conditions may require earlier action

  • Plowing often occurs overnight, especially during active storms

  • Alternate-side parking rules are enforced during snow season to allow plows through narrow streets

  • Vehicles left in violation may be ticketed or towed

Seasonal reminders and snow-related updates are shared through Township communications and Savvy Citizen.

Stay informed & get involved

We encourage residents to:

  • Sign up for Savvy Citizen

  • Attend Township meetings

  • Participate in local events and programs

  • Consider volunteering or serving on a board or commission

Lawrence Park works best when neighbors are informed, respectful, and involved.
