Lawrence Park Township is currently seeking one Full-Time and one Substitute Crossing Guard to provide coverage when regular crossing guards are unavailable.
Full-Time crossing guards are expected to be present for the majority of school days. The position of substitute is an on-call position. The substitute will not be scheduled daily but must be available as needed during the school year. Typical shifts are:
- Morning: 7:45 AM – 8:45 AM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, dependable, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Applicants must possess current Pennsylvania clearances (PA Child Abuse History, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance) which must be obtained and maintained at the applicant’s expense.
